Cite an Image in Harvard Edition
Harvard author–date referencing is widely required in UK, Australian, and many international universities. Image entries usually include an Accessed date and the phrase Available at: before the URL.

How to cite an image
The hosting webpage or repository that publishes the file—not a search results page.
How to cite a photograph
The photographer credit plus the archive, newspaper, museum, or stock platform that hosts the file.
How to cite a painting
The museum or collection that holds the original work, including city when required.
How to cite an artwork
The collection or gallery of record (museum name + city), even when you found the image online.
How to cite a chart
The dataset or report that produced the chart—not only the slide deck that reused it.
How to cite a graph
The paper, report, or data portal that first published the graph axes and series.
How to cite a map
The cartographer or agency (USGS, Ordnance Survey, Google, etc.) that issued the map sheet or digital layer.
How to cite a screenshot
The software, app, or website captured, including product name and version when known.
How to cite an infographic
The organization that designed and published the infographic, plus any cited data sources listed on the graphic.
How to cite a diagram
The textbook, paper, or technical manual that published the diagram.
